Does Viagra Really Work for Erectile Disfunction?

Does Viagra really work?If you’re on the face of the Earth you’ve definitely seen a Viagra ad and wondered whether it would work for you. The short answer is yes, but there’s far more to the answer than that. It’s important to know where Viagra came from, why it got so popular, and why it works the way it does.

Overview
The entire world of male sexual enhancement was rocked when Viagra came out. It totally was groundbreaking medicine and both men and women alike took notice. Quickly making a name for itself in the global mainstream consciousness, Viagra has had many imitators and competitors come out over the years. Since its patent has expired you can also find many generic versions with the same dose, at far cheaper prices.

Its scientific name is Sildenafil and it was brought to market first by Pfizer, which took the lion’s share of profits from its revenues. No doubt they are looking to market products that are even better than Viagra, but until then they are trying to milk their cash cow for all it’s worth.

The Claim
The claim is that it’s a fix for erectile dysfunction in men, allowing for a return to normal sexual activity. Aside from a cure for hair loss, this is the biggest pharmaceutical news to ever come out at the time.

The Hype
Tons of commercials, junk email offers, racing cars, and overall consumer-to-consumer hype has made Viagra quite a phenomenon. Almost everyone knows about Viagra, and it enjoys this status because it was the first to market, and the only guaranteed effective remedy to sexual problems for several years.

The Cost
One drawback that Viagra has is the price. Since it’s not covered by most insurances, most men had to pay out of pocket for the pills, each costing upwards of $80 when it first came out. All that has changed now and you can get it or one of it’s duplicate generic brands for far less.

The Commitment
All that’s required is to take Viagra as directed when you’re wanting to have sexual intercourse.

Evaluation
Viagra has many drawbacks, which other drugs and herbal remedies have tried to overcome. For example Viagra doesn’t work instantly, and so some men aren’t ready to go in the moment that they’re expected to. Also, it can last longer than is required, up to four hours, and this can lead to some embarrassing, yet in retrospect hilarious situations.
Viagra can come in many different dosages, and only your doctor will know which one will best suit your needs and give you what you’re after. That’s why it’s important to visit with them when you’re first getting started. Once you find the dosage that works, you can feel free to shop around and find the best deal, but because of the side effects and complications that can occur you’ll want to get going with it under your doctor’s supervision and not just fly by the sear of your pants on this one.

Does Viagra Really Work?

Yes. Viagra works for most people that use it, according to their doctor’s recommendation and prescription. It has to or it wouldn’t be approved and regulated by the FDA. Also, it wouldn’t have enjoyed such a large amount of sales in the marketplace if it didn’t work as described. Because of its effectiveness and word of mouth, everyone is in agreement that this is something that works for a large majority of those that use it. If you try it and it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work, it just didn’t work for you and your situation, and maybe wasn’t the right answer for you.

Our Recommendation
If you’re suffering from the type of trouble that Viagra is designed for, you should talk to your doctor to see if they tell you to try it. Only then will you know that you’ve made the right diagnosis of your problem, and you can get back to a more normal sex life for you and your partner.

You can also inquire about one of the low-cost alternatives and herbal remedies that are available. No longer are men slaves to the Pfizer corporation and their little blue pill. We can go out and get the same result from products costing far less, but that are just as effective.

Of course Viagra works. The worst thing that can be said about it is that works too well. Some men find that taking a half, or even quarter of a pill (or less) does the trick just fine. A whole pill will have you raring to go, so just hope that the missus is in the mood as well. Of course, the other major worry with Viagra is those darn erections lasting more than four hours. Those can cause permanent damage, so seriously, head directly for the hospital after three and a half hours. That’s a medical emergency you want to attend to ASAP.

This stuff works so well that it is being used by a lot of young people, people who don’t need to use it, as a recreational drug. Not because it alters your mood or has any kind of serotonin boosting properties, but because the erection experienced by those who have an otherwise normal erection, are dramatic. Not only does it make the penis harder for longer, but the effect is like having a bigger, stronger penis. It’s like when you get really aroused and your erection seems like it will burst. That feeling never lasts very long. It will last for hours like that on Viagra. Not that I’m condoning the recreational use of the drug, I’m just saying. Obviously.
