Overview
Many times fitness instructors like to mention that they have celebrity clients, and while this may sound impressive at first, it also means that they are training people that have the time and the resources to spend to get the body they need for specific roles, or to maintain a certain image. The big question is whether or not their techniques can be translated to the rest of us that are trying to balance full time jobs and a family and still get in shape.
The Claim
The big claim made by Jay about JCore is that you can transform your entire body in a relatively short period of time with his methods.
The Hype
Transforming the body is big business, and there’s no shortage of fitness instructors that are promising to get you there. It’s great to think about going from zero to hero in the fitness department, and it almost looks like it’s easy if you buy into the testimonials. The reality is that you have to show up and put the time in, as well as change your eating habits which can be a big stumbling block for many.
The Cost
The total cost of JCore ends up being $60, but they have it set up so your initial outgo is only $15. If you decide to keep it you make two additional payments of $22.50. When you look at the costs of other programs that are similar in nature, you’ll find that many of them clock in at $100 or more. They are all selling essentially the same thing, a totally transformed body, so if you can get that result for less money, it only makes sense to.
The Commitment
They’ve reduced your commitment level to 20 minutes out of your day, just four days per week. When you compare that to programs like Insanity
Evaluation
The basic concept behind JCore is that you’re trying to get the most efficiency from your efforts as possible. Rather than spend the better part of an hour in the gym, or following one of the popular intense training videos that are so popular these days, you are focusing on getting your muscles to respond to your actions quickly and to build the leanest muscle in the shortest amount of time.
Even though this program is less expensive than many of its competitors, it’s still comprehensive, and you’re getting everything you need in one package. It has several DVDs that help you find out what your current level of fitness is, and then walks you through the exercises to help you improve. It has you taking the fitness test again at strategic points to show you the progress you’re making. Sometimes when it comes to fitness the mirror might not be the best thing to look at, and you may need to find your initial motivation to keep going by the better numbers you see on your fitness test.
The end result is that JCore gets our Solid Try rating based on good feedback from users, the money back guarantee in place, and the unique approach to fitness that will appeal to many busy professionals. With many fitness programs, it’s a matter of plugging yourself into the system, believing it will work, and not missing any of the days. The same is true for this one. As long as you work it, it should work.
Our Recommendation
When it comes to getting fit there’s really only one path, and it requires the dedication to stick with the plan over the long term. The reason this program is getting our recommendation is because it has you making changes, but they’re not drastic, and you don’t have to rearrange your entire life to incorporate this into it.

Efficiency really is the key when it comes to seeing real gains when you train, so I'm definitely behind this programme. It focuses on what I believe to be the key area when it comes to working out right, and the one area that most programmes ignore. You see it all the time in the gym- those guys and girls slogging away, working hard, but doing everything wrong and basically wasting their time. That said, if you want to look lean and muscular, you don't just have to train right, you have to eat right, and that right there is the main problem that any of us really face.
