Ordered it a month ago, still haven't received. There is no customer service number only an email address. Haven't gotten any response to my emails. don't waste your money. I calling my credit card company.
I bought the Pearl earlier this year, hoping to get rid of the vellus hair on my face. It came with a small and a large 'head'. The wire broke quite quickly on the small head, and broke again on the replacement, so I am using the bigger head now ( possibly better for legs). All I can say is, that I run it over my face 3 times a week and the hair just keeps growing. In fact I am wondering if the heat is actually causing more hair to grow - I already looked like a billy goat so not a good thought. If you think about how much heat is used with say electrolysis, or laser ( you need pain killers for those ), it is just not possible for this product to work. The Buffer pads are a joke. I had bought a No! No! machine earlier, but that one definitely scratches my skin, but I get a closer ' shave'..the Pearl has never burnt me or sctached my face...anyway, it is a waste of money, but it keeps my long thck white Vellus hair short and as there is nothing else on the market short of having electrolysis every day for the rest of my life, I am still using the Pearl...even though the short white stubble is quite embarrassing
i am 15 and i want to try the pearl because i have a really bad problem with hair i take after my dads side mostly.
should i get my dad to let me try it hes says that it proberly will be oposite to what the add says easy and pain free.

I've used the pearl and it's great. I don't know what others are doing but I've only used it a couple times and it works great. My hair is defiantly thinning. While I do admit it does burn a bit and leaves a bit of a rash from the buffer pads but it is no different to waxing (I have sensitive skin as I can't use removal cream). Maybe some aren't using it properly or aren't giving it enough time to start working. As the instructions say it could take some time to take effect. I suggest giving it a try and using the whole trial time before making up your mind.
Considering taking these people to court after being burnt badly by it. Maybe some of us could do a class action lawsuit.
I bought the Pearl hair removal hoping that it would remove all unwanted hair. I usually wax which leaves my leg hairs quite soft considering I have very dark hair. After using it on my arms the hairs were all spikey THEN the second time I used it the head of the machine piece broke. I was below pleased with this product, it fact it was shithouse. I'm returning it back. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS Y'ALL
I am actually scared to use this product. It definitely is not painfree - it burns! Not only did it not burn off all the hair - it burnt me and left me with scratches and rashes that look like I've been attacked by an angry cat. I'm sending mine back.... disappointing as I had high hopes for this product.

I bought the pearl 3 days ago. Read the instruction manual all the way through. Started using it after the recommended time of charge. I did everything it said. It seriously did nothing, even after I used the buffing pads and moisturized. It said on the adds it leaves you with silky smooth skin that you would love to touch all the time. It left me with spiky legs and arms. I hadn't shaved for weeks so my hair was at the recommended length. It did nothing at all except for smoke and smell of burnt hair, which is what is normal, it means it is working when it is doing that, but it did not leave me with smooth skin at all. Far from it. It burnt only the tip of the hairs off.
I tried it on my arms where my hairs on there are much thinner. It worked better on my arms but still had the spiky feel, no matter how many times I went over it! I thought I'd give it another chance the next day because my under arms is one of the main reasons I bought it, my underarms are never smooth. I shave them with a razor and the next morning I have to shave them again. So I tried using the pearl under there, it did nothing at all! It didn't get anything. It was just uncomfortable felt like scraping plastic under there against my hairs. They were long too. I tried it on my bikini line and it did nothing. It seems it doesn't work at all on thicker hair. I tried it on my bf's back who is quite hairy. I went over the one spot of hair patch so many times and it burnt a couple then that was it. And his hair on his body is long. Also when I would use it, it would burn me every now and then. When I first place it on my skin sometimes it would give me a burn zap, which I got scared of and tried being more careful but it stil got me. It says its not meant to be painful? It is everything opposite of what they are selling it for. And they want $300 for it?
I recently purchased a Pearl Hair Remover as I find it hard to get to the Salon for regular waxing. I hate shaving as the rough stubble the next day is annoying. I left the hair long enough to see how great this Pearl works. Yes the smell of burning hair is awful and stinks the house out. I found that it takes many attempts over certain areas to remove the hair and it misses a lot. The next day I could feel the stubble beginning on my legs and now it is day 3 my legs feel like my husbands unshaven face. I think I will send mine back as I would say if you are a shaver then it is not different, & if you like smooth legs and bits for a few weeks at a time then waxing is the way to go. I have also used hair removal cream that has a inhibitor in it which states the more you use it the slower and thinner the hair will be when growing back. Hair removal is a personal choice so I would recommend that trying it yourself is the best thing to do.
