Does Silk’n SensEpil Really Work?

Rate this post

Getting smooth legs can be tough, but the Silk’n SensEpil promises to bring a laser treatments to your home. It’s actually something you can use on several different parts of your body to remove unwanted hair. It bills itself as an alternative to expensive spa treatments, and a more sensible choice than shaving or waxing. But a lot of products make the same sort of claims and fall short. Is this one of them, or can you trust the results?

Overview
You only have so many options when it comes to smooth, touchable legs and other body parts. You can resort to the classic shaving, but that’s so last century. You can get the occasional wax job, but why go through the pain? The only real problem with getting laser treatments done to your legs is that it’s such a large area, and requires so many sessions, it becomes prohibitively expensive for most.

The Claim
Silk’n SensEpil claims to be an at-home laser kit that allows you to permanently remove your leg hair, without the need to visit a salon or clinic. They say that it is clinically proven, and that it was put to the test by actual dermatologists and deemed safe to use at home. What’s nice is that they actually provide the documentation of these trials.

They claim that they have a back-up safety precaution that scans your skin tone and won’t treat areas that don’t line up at an acceptable level. They also say that the treatment happens fast, so you won’t spend all day trying to do your legs or other large spots. This is due to its large treatment area, and the ability to flash it again and again without waiting very long for it to recharge.

They also say that it doesn’t hurt very much. When you size it up to getting waxed, or getting laser treatments done by a professional, it provides lower levels of discomfort. This will appeal to those of us that have gone through the whole waxing ritual one too many times.

The Hype
The hype is that more and more laser treatments are finding their ways into homes. Sure, this one is FDA approved, but this definitely represents some futuristic world where we can start giving ourselves laser treatments that once could only be done by trained professionals in a clinic.

The Cost
Silk’n SensEpil is not cheap, but you really wouldn’t want it to

be, since it involves the use of lasers. Their offer involves taking $100 off the top and it sells for $400. You have 60 days to try it out and see the results for yourself. If you don’t like it, return it and you’re out shipping. See our section below on getting what you pay for, and avoiding sham products.

The Commitment
You have to stay committed to the process of giving yourself repeated treatments until you see results. Most people that said they did not see the results they were expecting did not use it enough to make an accurate verdict. You should be religious about it, at least during the trial period so you can make the most accurate decision.

Evaluation
Because of the money back guarantee, it’s best to do your own evaluation on your own hair. Due to the different skin types out there, getting individual feedback on something like this isn’t reliable. One person with thick hair might say it works great because they can notice the results right away, but someone with thinner or finer hair and a darker complexion might say that it didn’t do much.

You have to look at the overall trend of results, and that’s where the SensEpil shines. The overall majority of users have said that it works great. When you have a product like this with so much room for user error, and so many different skin and hair types and colors, it’s hard to get generally positive results. That’s how you know something works in most cases. The only next logical step is to see if it works in your case.

Getting What You Pay For
With something at this price point many people will try to find the best deal, and can be lured by the promise of getting a SensEpil at a suspiciuosly low price. But with things like overseas manufacturing, companies are able to replicate a product down to the finest detail, and produce very convicing knock offs. They can even set up websites and sell their products online, until they get shut down, at which point they just start a new site.

So you have to be careful that you don’t go that route. Make sure you use a trusted ordering channel, preferrably their official one, so you can be protected by their 60 day money back guarantee, and be sure you’re getting the real thing.

Final Silk’n SensEpil Review

Silk’n SensEpil gets our vote of

approval. Sure, it’s not the cheapest thing out there, but when you add up all of the products you’ve used in recent years to keep your body free of hair, and add up all the future products you’ll use in the coming years, it’s not that big of a leap. When you factor in that this will involve a lot less pain, and pales in comparison to the cost of getting it done professionally, we say it’s a winner.

Our Recommendation
If you’re tired of going through the motions of keeping your unwanted body hair off your body, you have to look into a permanent solution. This means you have to write off things like shaving or waxing, and really your only choice boils down to laser treatments. It’s the only thing that has been found to provide permanent, or very long-lasting results. At that point it comes down to at-home treatments, or getting it done in offices and clinics. For the price and the results we recommend going with the SensEpil, as it gives you a level of control you just don’t have with any other option.

  • I've bought one sensepil product from singapore but now my flash bulb is run out. I want to buy refill flash bulb but i'm not going to singapore anytime soon. I will be going to Bangkok next month is there any shop that i can buy refill flash bulb for sensepil at Bangkok? If so could you please give me an address. I don't want to order online just want to buy personally.

  • so when I click the underlined link for Silk'n Sens Epil it brings me to the NONO page ?! What the crap ? the NONO is a waste of money, been there returned that.

  • I've heard about a lot of different at-home hair removal laser treatments, but what I have found is that people tend to give these products negative reviews, stating that the products do not work as promised. This is the first time I am seeing one of these types of products actually get positive reviews. I am surprised that this product is so highly recommended and would definitely consider giving it a try once I have some extra money to spend on it, as it is very expensive. It is a shame that they cannot offer it at a more reasonable price for the average consumer.

  • $400 is a lot of money to pay for any non-essential items, but for what it promises to do and for the 60 day trial period I would give it a try. The offer is reasonable enough because if it doesn't work on my skin then I just have to return it, but still, it's a lot of money. I'll still happily pay for it if it works out though.
