Rate this post

It is getting close to the time that you want to think about gift giving for the kids for the upcoming festive season. At least those who like to start their shopping early think so. Sushi Go is something you may want to consider.

Overview
Sushi Go is a card game that is recommended for kids at the age of eight and up. Some have said that six year olds master it quite nicely. It apparently seems to be catching the attention of the adults too who don’t mind winning a game or two. The object of the game is to gather as many of the Sushi dishes as you can as they fly by you to make up a collection of sushi dishes. The theme revolves around a sushi restaurant.

The Claim
The promoters claim that this a fast paced card game that averages about 20 minutes in play for each game. They are claiming it brings a great deal of enjoyment for both the kids and adults alike.

The Hype
Probably the theme of the Sushi Go game lends the most hype. The game is based around food yet still creates an exciting challenge, and it is definitely drawing the kids away from the more violent type games. It is also nice to see a game that is gaining in such popularity that doesn’t require technology to play it.

The Cost
If you are going to buy it on Amazon it is going to cost you $10.99.

The Commitment
No matter who the game is for or who is going to play it they are going to first have to learn the rules of the game. The parents may have to take on the role here of teaching the kids when first starting out. No doubt they will master it quickly as the rules and method of playing the game is quite simple.

Evaluation
One of the best features about this Sushi Go game is that even though it is geared towards the kids, the adults really enjoy it too. Many times when the adults are playing some type of game with the kids it can be boring because of the skill level of the children’s games. Sushi Go has tackled that problem making it a challenging game but one that can be met at the age levels it is designed for. This is what makes it so enjoyable when the kids beat the adults.

Final Sushi Go Review

We are going to give Sushi Go a Thumbs Up rating. It is simple, challenging, and affordable. It is a great interactive game for parents and kids. We like the fact that its not a video game so it adds a different form of entertainment for the kids. It has been well received by Amazon patrons with over 300 reviews that has created a 5 star rating.

Our Recommendation
Finding games that the whole family can play is a great way for everyone to get together and spend some quality time enjoying each others company. Sushi Go is going to make a great gift for a youngster no matter what the occasion. It is not likely something they already have, so you won’t have to worry about duplicating a gift. In the past we have gathered a good selection of reviews about children’s toys that may give you some additional gift giving ideas.
