Does Ubiquinol Really Work?

0/5 - (1 vote)

Ubiquinol is a coenzyme that reportedly produces more energy for the cells, has anti-aging properties due to the antioxidants, and can improve your overall health. The usual way of consuming it is through supplementing with pills. Most people just want to know if it works or not and if it’s something they should add to their daily intake of vitamins and minerals.

Overview
CoQ10 levels can start to decline starting in your 20’s and there isn’t a very reliable way to replenish your reserves unless you supplement it, either with certain foods or with supplements that you buy from the store. One of the first things you’ll notice is that there are not many reported side effects that come with Ubiquinol. It gets its name from the word ubiquitous, meaning to be everywhere at once. This is in reference to how the enzyme travels throughout the entire body once you consume it.

The Claim
They say that Ubiquinol effects every cell of your body, and it can work to keep your blood pressure in check, give your immune system a boost, and help your nervous system function at more optimal levels. There are a host of other benefits that it has been cited as being able to provide, depending on which site you’re at, and who is trying to sell you on a bottle.

It has also been claimed that it can reverse some of the effects of taking statin drugs. If that is your goal then you’ll want to increase the dosage, and take more than you would if you just wanted to keep your body at healthy levels.

The Hype
This is billed as almost a wonder enzyme that has so many different benefits and helps the body in so many different ways that you’d be silly not to use it. Any time one specific mineral or vitamin is credited with so many amazing effects there will be people talking about it, and telling each other about it. You have to take it all with a grain of salt, and take a comprehensive approach to your health and well-being, and not simply rely on one magical substance to help you.

The Cost
The cost of Ubiquinol doesn’t vary too wildly, and you can be sure you’re getting the real deal. There is a patent on it, so pretty much any company can produce it and market it but they have to get it from the same source which is why the price and quality is relatively the same no matter where you’re getting it from. This is why there are varying degrees of quality and different price points. Overall though the costs remain quite high, leading many to opt out of buying it since it can be cost prohibitive. Those that don’t mind the price will find that they are getting a standardized product without worrying about getting a knock-off version.

The Commitment
This is the part that is appealing to most potential users. All that it requires is taking a supplement, but if you want to put a bit more effort into it you can seek out foods that contain it naturally and increase your intake of those specific foods. This includes fish, organ meats, and certain whole grain foods. Most find that it’s much easier just to use a supplement, especially if they are trying to recover from a disease like Parkinson’s, cancer, or to try to avoid getting Alzheimer’s.

Evaluation
It’s very rare that someone would take too much of this supplement, and there are very few reported side effects. While this doesn’t mean it’s completely safe in all instances it does give you a bit of peace of mind knowing that few if any that have gone before you have experienced negative reactions from it. You need to be aware that there are a few factors that can effect the way your body reacts to it, including stress or if your body is fighting off an illness. Be sure to take that into consideration when starting out on it.

Final Ubiquinol Review

Ubiquinol is getting our Thumbs Up rating, if you can get past the price. Most users have said that they’ve definitely noticed positive changes, and recommend it. With the low number of those that say it doesn’t work, and didn’t do anything, this is one item that you can try with confidence and experience it for yourself to see how you react to it.

Our Recommendation
If you are suffering from any sort of long term debilitating disease or illness, this is definitely a supplement to look into. You’ll want to consult with your doctor to see if there are any contraindications to taking it, and whether or not they think it will help you in your specific situation. You can also simply take it as a way to keep your body healthy and happy, and firing on all cylinders.

  • I started taking this for temperature regulation. I notice that when I've shuddered over the high price & gone off it I have a lot more issues with body temperature regulation.

  • My father had his first heart attack at age 42. He had 2 more plus a few strokes. He was put on a number of drugs, including Coumadin, originally a poison for Rats. I just turned 60 and am on Lipitor and another drug. These are prescribed to lower my Blood Pressure and Cholesterol levals. I just read an article by Dr Al Sears, MD on what has killed millions and why Doctors blame "Heart Disease". He also said he prescribes his patients CoQ10 and reports his patients getting off statin drugs. That is what brought me to this site, to see if it really works. I have Memory Loss and sometimes am disoriented and Chronic Fatigue is definitely present. I'm going to start using CoQ10 and see how I feel. If I notice a difference, I'll stop taking my Blood Pressure and Cholesterol medicines. I have my yearly physical exam coming up in May. I'll have them check my CoQ10 levels and see how I am doing without my medications. I am so tired of having to take meds every day. I also am on medication for "pre-cancer" in my stomach. I'm now drinking my fruits and veggies at least 4 days out of 7 by blending them in my blender. And I'm on medication for IBS and Barrett's Esophagus due ti Chemotherapy in 1994 for 6 months after Breast Cancer.

I have 3 grandchildren and want to live to know all my grandchildren and future grandchildren as well. I'm tired of being tired even with 8 hours or more of sleep. Wish me well. I want to be able to not only keep up with my children, but the grandchildren as well.

  • I was ready to be disappointed because of the many promises it makes, but I'm surprise to find that the real users are saying that they've seen great results. The cost is a bit of a concern for me as well seeing as how I've cut down on every monthly expenditure and I need to add this to it, but then health should come before money so... I guess I'll have to make the tough decision.
