One of the most annoying things that one may have to deal with around the home is clogged drains. It can end up being a serious problem where a professional has to be called in. Before getting to that point it may be worth having the Mighty Plunger on hand.

The Mighty Plunger works on the same premise as good old fashioned drain plunging does. Except it doesn’t take near the physical effort that a standard plunger does.

The Claim
The promoters of the Mighty Plunger say that you will never have to get your hands dirty again when it comes to clearing a clog drain. They say that it works on all types of drains and they are touting it as being the world’s greatest plunger. They are saying that the Mighty Plunger is pressurized with a simple bicycle pump.

The Hype
The hype for the Mighty Plunger focuses on the pressure being provided by the bike pump. Usually the problem with getting a drain cleared is not being able to apply enough pressure.

The Cost
The cost for the Mighty Plunger is not cheap. They are asking for two payments of $19.99 plus$6.95 shipping and handling. So basically you are paying about $47. You do have the option of paying it in one payment.

The Commitment
The commitment for the Mighty Plunger is no different than it would be any time you need to tackle a clogged drain.

Evaluation
The Mighty Plunger is a new product on the market so there is not a lot of feedback on it as yet. Drain clogs are different so in order to really determine if the Mighty Plunger is the world’s greatest plunger it needs a lot of testing by the consumers. However, we do feel that the concept of the Mighty Plunger is a good one.

Final Mighty Plunger Review

We are going to give the Mighty Plunger a Try/Buy rating. The concept is definitely a good one, but our only concern would be the quality and the longevity of it. We did take a look at similar products like the Drain Buster, which also works off of compressed Air. It has gotten some decent feedback and it’s a little less expensive. However, it may not have quite as many features as the Mighty Plunger. Really

though having something available in the home to deal with clogged drains really is a must. Especially when you take into account the price of calling in a plumber. If you can handle the problem yourself then the Mighty Plunger is a far cheaper way to go.
