The Glow Bowl is a motion activated device that you can clip on to the toilet. Then when anyone enters the bathroom they don’t have to rely on the light to see where they are going. The Glow Bowl automatically activates when someone enters the bathroom, then shuts itself off when the room is exited.

The Claim
The promoters of Glow Bowl indicate that it is ideal for adding some light to the bathroom when there is no desire to turn the bathroom light on. It allows for the selection of 7 different LED lights to emit the colors of bluem yellow, purple, white, aqua, red and green.

The Hype
The hype really focuses around the Glow Bowl being a novelty item although it does serve a useful purpose.

You can expect to pay $10.40 for the Glow Bowl.

The Commitment
There really isn’t much of a commitment for the Glow Bowl as it doesn’t demand any detailed installation. About the only thing you will have to remember is to change the battery in it when needed.

When it comes to the evaluation we have to ask ourselves is the Glow Bowl really a necessity and the answer would be probably not. But is it something that a lot of people would be interested in and the answer would be apparently. Currently this product has received 7,496 reviews giving it a 3.1 out of 5 star rating. We are going to give the Glow Bowl a Try/Buy rating. It certainly isn’t expensive and really is considered to be a novelty item and not a “must have”. The problem that we have with it seems to be the quality. Most of the major complaints have been that it worked great for a few hours then simply s

topped working. Even a low price isn’t worth this type of performance. Yet there have been lots that have raved about it being a good product. So it seems like it’s the luck of the draw if you get a good one or not.

Our Recommendation
If you are really looking at Glow Bowl as something you can count on to save you or the kids from having to turn on the bathroom light during the nighttime then it may be risky as to whether it will work or not. If you are looking at it as a novelty item then it may be worth the small investment to take a chance.
