Does the Lavender Pillow Really Work?

Rate this post

One of the things that promotes a good night’s sleep is the bedding that is used. Part of this includes the pillow. Most will agree that if their pillow is not comfortable then it really does interfere with their sleep. But how about one that is infused with lavender? Does this make a difference?

Overview
The Lavender Pillow is one that has been designed with memory foam which is the rage in pillows today, but there is something extra special about this particular pillow in that it has lavender added to it.

The Claim
The promoters of the Lavender Pillow state that this pillow is comprised of top quality memory foam. This is supposed to give you the proper orthopedic support for your neck and back. It is meant to provide good support while relieving pressure. It also contains lavender properties while promoting the lavender as a sleep enhancer.

The Hype
The hype really focuses around the two benefits in one for the Lavender Pillow. You are getting the proper pillow support you need that helps promote good rest. Plus, you are getting the benefits of lavender without having to rely on another resource for this.

The Cost
The cost of the Lavender Pillow is two for the price of $99.95 plus shipping and handling. Along with your order you will also get a free lavender spray.

The Commitment
The promotion behind the Lavender Pillow doesn’t indicate that you need to do anything other than use the pillow. There is nothing there to say that you have to refresh the pillow with the lavender linen spray that you get with your order, however this does create some suspicion.

Evaluation
We are convinced that the aroma of lavender does help with sleep as there are some studies to back this up. However, it doesn’t mean that you have to be subjected to it through your pillow, although this is convenient. Also, similar products that are using this system for the emission of lavender through the pillow seem to be getting favorable results. This tells us that this type of product is being well received in the consumer market.

Final Lavender Pillow Review

We are going to give the Lavender Pillow a Try/Buy with a lean towards a thumbs up. The reason we are not going totally thumbs up because we are concerned about the longevity of the infusion of lavender. Common sense dictates that this would eventually dissipate. However, the price for two pillows that promoting the quality that should be found in a

memory foam pillow is reasonable. Plus, the promotion is indicating that if you are not happy with your Lavender Pillow that you can return it within sixty days. That is plenty long enough to determine whether this pillow is going to live up to your expectations.

Our Recommendation
We recommend that you try the Lavender Pillow if you are one that will follow through with the return if you are not satisfied. If you are looking for an alternative without the lavender feature then you may want to check out The Comfy Core Pillow.

  • Bought 2 feather down pillows cost me $50 each.To find out there was bugs crawling out of the pillows.Put them in garbage bags and put them out side for the garbage. What a shock made in China.

  • Way too expensive.I need only one\ I'll add lavander oil to my foam pillow that I already have! Thanks....

  • Received two lavender infused foam pillows when I purchased a new mattress. First night woke up about 2 a.m. with a raspy cough, congestion and breathing problem. Thought I was coming down with a cold/flu. Stayed up until 4 a.m. in living room and felt much better. Second night same thing. Awful two nights with lingering symptoms. Figured out that something new was causing this and, of course, zeroed in on pillow and mattress. Put pillow in the garage, retrieved old pillow and all is well.
Label on pillow: Marca: Comfort Revolution in Belmont, MS. 100% polyester -inner core, 100% polyurethane fill foam. Says Made in USA, BUT with imported materials from CHINA. Beware! Will return so called "gift" and only hope Sealy mattress doesn't try to kill me also.
