I have been struggling with alcohol(ism) for 10+ years, in and out of various programs. And Moder8 worked immediately for me. Gone were the cravings. Gone the urges. I got through Christmas holidays and did not once miss a drink, did not have even 1 drink. Taking it allowed me to focus on a program (not AA - and nothing against AA) to go along with it. I have stopped drinking completely. I bought 1 bottle only, just to give it a try and the results have literally changed my life. No, there is no magic pill to fix my life - I am doing other things to change. But the supplement gave me relief so I could make those changes. Good luck to everyone in their search.
I've taken the pills and they do help you with the anxiety withdrawl of not drinking. I tend to drink two-three alcoholic beverages a day and if I don't I get a little anxiety. These pills when taken as directed do help you with that but is not a substitute for help if you feel you have to stop drinking completely.
Now this is shameless. Alcohol addiction is terrible. Like, really, really terrible. Peddling a pill that a person struggling with alcoholism would think might allow them to continue drinking at a reduced rate is kind of cruel if you ask me. It's selling false hope. Which is exactly what most companies are doing when they sell anything, but targeting alcoholics seems to me to be un-scrupulous to the highest degree. An alcoholic will not find refuge in these pills and any one who is naturally able to maintain balance with alcohol doesn't need them. A complete waste of time and a display of almost sinister levels of cynicism.
I know that no alcoholic would ever admit to being an alcoholic, but I seriously don't have a drinking problem xD I drink maybe a couple of times a week, so I don't drink that often, but when I do I do lose control of myself. I drink a lot, I drink fast, and I get crazy drunk. I don't believe Moder8 is even close to a solution for real alcoholics, but for someone like me it sounds like a good match. As long as it does what it says it does, I'm willing to part with 34 dollars for a bottle.
