Does Regenix Really Work?

5/5 - (1 vote)

If you’ve been on the search for hair loss treatments, you may have considered Regenix. They are a little different than almost every other company out there, because they actually involve face-to-face consultations, and try to scientifically analyze if the product is working for you. This flies in the face of the way that almost every other company does business. But does this method produce results?

Overview
By visiting a real world, brick-and-mortar Regenix Clinic you’ll meet with one of their representatives and be recommended a treatment regimen according to how they size up your situation. There are even people they turn away if they don’t qualify for a treatment. If your hair loss is already too severe, they are honest enough to tell you up front, and not string you along for months getting you to buy their product. That’s commendable.

The Claim
There aren’t a lot of outlandish claims made here, and they even say that their product is not designed to regrow your hair. They are in the business of stopping the loss, not returning your hair to its prime. This is rather refreshing because the majority of hair loss products out there will try to engage users by bringing up memories of how their hair used to be and then promising to get it back for them.

They also claim that they will give you individualized recommendations, which would seem to make their product more effective, and not just a blanket fix that works for everyone. However, they only have so many different products, so it seems that there would only be so many different ways that they could personalize it.

The Cost
This is where Regenix loses some of their potential clients. Their treatment is said to be around $300 a month, with an introductory offer in most cases. You can get the product on it’s own for around $173. Once you reach a maintenance phase they have shampoos and other products that are priced far more reasonably.

The Commitment
You might feel all alone with your problem, and it can be hard to open up to someone and let them analyze your thinning hair. But this is something that is part of their treatment process, so you may be required to be more open and forthcoming with people about your hair, a sensitive subject for many men. You’ll also have to commit yourself to following through on their recommendations, using their system the way they instruct you to, and being religious about it.

Evaluation
The combination of clinical visits and at home treatments seems a little sloppy. It seems that it should be one or the other, but not both. There’s no way that you can replicate the actions taken at the clinic at home, and it leads you to wonder why they can’t their product work well enough at home that you don’t need to visit the clinic.

What People Are Saying
Many men that have tried Regenix have said that they saw improvement in the r

ate of how fast they are losing their hair. There are those that experienced some side effects with the product, and there are also those that had some complications arise due to the medications they were taking. Be sure to read all of the instructions and warnings on the label before you use it, and follow the instructions given by your consultant to the letter.

Final Regenix Review

Many men report having success with the program, and stay on it for the long term to get the best results. At the price point that says a lot, because it’s too expensive to stay on with it if it’s not working. There are several things that we don’t like about Regenix. The product is not designed to regrow your hair at all.

Also, it is designed to be a lifetime treatment, so once you stop using it your problem will return shortly. At this price this is rather absurd, since you’re locked in to an expensive product just to maintain your current look. For the kind of money you’re spending, you should be able to see simply amazing results that last. That’s why we’re giving this product one thumb up and one thumb down. They get some things totally right, and other things totally wrong.

Our Recommendation
If you’re flush with cash this might be the system that stops the hemorrhaging of the hair. You must understand ahead of time that you won’t be growing your hair back, but if you’d be content with just stopping the regression, you’ll likely be happy.

If you are looking for alternatives, we suggest taking a look at this popular hair loss product.

  • WHY does the treatment cost SO MUCH? I'm sure they've recouped any product development costs they incurred. It's a shame, because my guess is that if this wasn't so economically prohibitive -- and it really worked -- they would have many more purchasers, which one would think would keep their profit margin healthy.

  • I’ve been on Regenix for about a year and a half. Loving it. My wife and I started to notice that my hair was thinning (baldness runs in the family) and my scalp was getting suuuper itchy. Then we heard the ads on Dennis Prager and decided to give it a try. Let’s be honest, while they don’t claim to regrow hair (like other products) and only claim to make your current hair thicker and less likely to fall out, it sounded like snake oil to me. When I started it, my scalp stopped itching 100%. I wouldn’t tell how it was really working until my first haircut after starting it and both I and my wife agreed that there was a very noticeable difference! My maternal uncle was bald. The women in my family have thinning hair and my father and brothers are balding. I still have a full head of hair. If it stays like this for the next few years then it for sure works long term. Great staff also! Bill, Nazi, Anna, Greg, and Lexi are very friendly and insightful. I HIGHLY recommend.

  • I'm dismayed by the angry reviews I've read about Regenix. I don't normally post reviews but I have to set the record straight. I first visited Regenix in 2004. Their analysis showed that my follicles were a little clogged and that was causing my hair to thin. I started with a cleansing formula and I switched to their shampoo and a couple other products that supported their treatments. The first treatment formulation was followed by another analysis. With the hair follicles clean and the bulb free of debris, I switched over the a vitamin based formula that thickened each individual hair and booted up growth. Yes, the end result was thicker and more plentiful hair. No, they don't claim to grow hair but by creating a clean environment under my scalp, I did see regrowth because my body was now able to grow more hair unimpeded by debris. So, why am I still a client in 2018? My body and everyone's body changes! As I've aged and I'm 69 today, everyone's hair normally thins. Diet, how we metabolize food all changes with age. Stress levels change across one's lifetime too and stress can cause extra shedding. And keep in mind that everyone's hair goes through regular shedding periods too. At least twice a year. The Regenix model of treatment prepares your scalp by first cleaning then nurturing your hair follicles so that you benefit from the regrowth that occurs after shedding.
And here's the bottom line folks. You have to work with your body over time and that includes scalp! Years ago, I asked my dentist if I really needed to floss. He replied, "Only those teeth that you want to keep." The same applies to your scalp, that is if you want hair into your later years. I know maintenance may not seem sexy but in time you will realize that nothing is forever and that's especially true with our bodies, hair included. Work with the staff at Regenix, and you'll have a good support system for your scalp and hair. Finally, I need to say a word about their shampoo, Formula #1 and their Formula #2 in particular. They do a wonderful job of keeping your scalp clean down to the follicles. Most shampoos and conditioners will coat your hair and clog up your follicles over time mostly because of synthetic artificial ingredients. I've only used their hair care product since 2004 and I won't use anything else. Regenix is a sensible approach to hair preservation and they don't claim to regrow hair. In fact, they do turn people away who have gone past the point of no return. I've seen this for myself while waiting in their reception area. Regenix offers value for your dollars spent. Give the formulations time to work with your bodies natural cycle of shedding and regrowth and you will see benefits. Ron Davis, Seal Beach CA

  • This part of your story is pure BULLSHIT - "and they even say that their product is not designed to regrow your hair. " Yeah well ALL of their Radio Commercials that run in the Los Angeles area by "Famous" Radio Personality product whores like Bill Handel (and his wife) CLAIM that Regenix "grew their hair back (New Regrowth)"!! Even Regenix newest Radio Whore pretty boy "Dr. Drew" Pinsky who'll Pimp anything for a buck has his wife make the claim that Regenix not only stopped the Hair Loss within 3 months, but she also see's "regrowth of lost hair". These are OBVIOUSLY PAID FOR and written by Regenix commercials! So your story is bullshit.

  • They emailed me after I sent in my free screening and said I was a perfect candidate for regenix. I'm almost done stage 1 and already see improvement. My hair feels and looks healthier. The hairs on the top of my head were getting really thin and felt dry and unhealthy. Now, even though I still have less hair on top, it looks and feels as healthy as the thick hair on the side and back of my head. I'm excited to see what happens when I get into the next stage. It's a lot of money, but so far it's been worth it for me. I've tried lots of treatments and this is the first one that really seems to be working. What I'm happiest about is that later I can cut back the treatments instead of having to treat every day for the rest of my life, which was the downfall of a few other things I've tried.

    • Regenix wrote a nice PR piece for you, sounds EXACTLY like their radio commercials .... no surprise!

    • It's free to send in a hair sample, where they'll tell you if it'll work for you. Otherwise try calling them and asking about alopecia.

  • In my opinion I don't think it works. I've been getting this treatment for over 4 years. I started off spending over $1000 for about 3 months of treatment. They are honest in telling you the results will vary and it will take time to clean out the scalp and for the follicles to fall out and get replaced by new thicker bulb of follicles. Every time i go in for my next visit it's always a positive diagnoses of my scalp.
After couple of years and no improvement i asked the consultants why and how long will it take to see results and it's always "results vary, everyone is different" reply. I was losing my money and my hair. So i asked if i can cut down on the treatments and of course they happily agreed because THEY always see improvements every time i visit.
Don't waste your money and your time.

    • I have had great success with Regenix. I am a 33 year old woman that has had considerable hair loss the past ten years due to hormonal imbalances. Regenix has certainly helped me obtain a healthy scalp. It is expensive to maintain the treatments. I have stopped using it several times due to the cost and a few weeks to a month or two later I start shedding again.. big time! When I was on the program my hair grew back much healthier and thicker which was a huge confidence booster. After my most recent period without the treatments and products I decided to call Regenix about sending in my hair samples. I wondered if it was really necessary, and to be completely honest, I would get too busy to send them in. I had a nice talk with one of the technicians that told me while it was very important to use the treatments, it was equally important to continue using the other products such as the scalp treatment and cleansers to maintain the progress that was made with the treatments. GRRR! If only I had known that sooner. I would stop using the products the same time I was out of treatments. This stuff works! I have been using it for 3.5 years. I can't wait to get my next shipment as I am out of treatment!
