It is indicated that The Center of Disease Control only recommends these two plant-based ingredients. The promoters are claiming that this product will repel mosquitoes for up to 6 hours. They also say it won’t harm or stain your clothing. While these are two strong oils when it comes to scent it is actually quite pleasant.

The company is indicating that Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Natural Insect Repellent is equal in effectiveness to what a low Deet product would be. This means that while the product may work well for areas where mosquitoes may be moderate it will not work in heavily infested areas.

The Hype
The biggest hype is what Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Natural Insect Repellent does NOT contain which is Deet. There has been a lot of indicators that this substance can be harmful to the health.

You won’t need any reminders to use the product once you step outdoors and the mosquitoes start attacking you. So, if you put it on before you leave home, but forget to take it with you then you are still going to be okay for a few hours.

Evaluation
There is no doubt that a product like Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Natural Insect Repellent that is a natural based product is needed. There are the concerns about West Nile Virus which this product is suppose to help repel the mosquitoes that carry this. Now there are concerns about the Zika Virus and whether the mosquitoes that carry this will end up invading us as well. Although there is no mention of this product assisting in warding off mosquitoes that cause this disease.

Our Recommendation
