Evaluation
Overall the concept seems good for the Simply Fit Board because as the name implies it is simple to use and doesn’t demand a major investment. It certainly is not going to give you all the exercise you need but it is a good starting point. Perhaps by encouraging yourself to start off with something simple and seeing some results will spur you onto more aggressive workouts.

Fit Board a thumbs up because we like the fact that it is a simple approach and something that would appeal to many that are not into strenuous workouts. The price is reasonable and it appears to be durable. Plus, it comes in some really neat colors. Our Recommendation

I had done some research on it myself. What I found is that the twisting motion will help you train your balance. But to really loose weight with it and tone your abs (or any other body part) you need more than just the board. Dumbbells are a good way to start.
Also there's a lot of different exercises that are very helpful. I've listed them in detail in my review on my blog.
Hope this helps some people.

I cannot get the board to stop shifting across the floor. While using it! Am I doing something wrong?
they address this in the video (I think) and other documentation. "If you start to move, simply tilt the board back slightly to re-center it and keep your back straight, head up. You’ll notice this behavior becoming less of a problem in about a week or two when you get a feel for your twisting!" I saw somewhere that eventually you will learn to control it in such a way that you can move it where you want. I have definitely found this to be the case and I haven't used it that much.
