Overview
There are many companies out there that come up with a health product, and then choose to sell it using multi-level marketing, or MLM. The idea is that you sell the product, but you also recruit other salespeople that are placed under you, becoming your “downline”. You get paid a small percentage on all of the sales your downline makes. So the goal is twofold, earning income with direct sales, and expanding your team so that you rely less and less on your own efforts.
The Claim
The claim here is that you could make enough money from this to earn a part-time, or full-time income, and achieve financial independence by selling the product and getting others to join as well. This is not a claim that is exclusive to Synergy Worldwide, it’s the basic claim made by most multi-level marketing organizations.
They claim that their flagship product, ProArgi 9 Plus, can help you with your heart health, can give you more energy, and may even be able to boost sexual performance. It uses L-Argenine to achiever these claims. Research into this amino acid has shown mixed results, but it does show promise in treating stress and regulating blood pressure.
The Hype
The hype for this comes from how much money they say you’ll be able to make, as well as all of the reps that try to get you to join under them. Finding third-party reviews on how well this opportunity really works is a challenge, because most people expressing their opinion have some sort of involvement with the company.
The Cost
There is a membership fee of $25, and you’re expected to buy the products to use them yourself and to sell them to others. They assign a point value to each product you can order, and you have to meet certain point levels in order to remain eligible for the full compensation. There may be additional membership fees that we were unable to determine at this time.
As far as buying ProArgi 9 Plus, you can get a 10 ounce tub at Amazon for around $50. By most accounts this is pricey for a supplement, which if you do decide to sell it would be one objection that you’d have to have a really good rebuttal for. It might also limit the amount of repeat buyers you’re able to maintain for the long term, as they might not be able to justify staying on it for long.
The Commitment
All businesses require some sweat equity when first starting up, and you have to avoid buying into the idea that this is going to be a cake walk. If you want this to replace your full-time income it’s going to take a full time effort, which means you’ll have to work your full-time job during the day, and spend the rest of your time getting this off the ground.
Evaluation
The Synergy Worldwide opportunity is very similar to others out there that are based around a health supplement. Yes, it could be possible that you’d try the product out, get passionate about it, and make a strong effort to pitch it to those that you know. The real question is how big of a part of your life are you willing to make this, and are you prepared to possibly alienate those around you by treating them like prospects.
The insidious idea behind network marketing is the one where if you just recruit enough people into your downline you’ll be on Easy Street and they’ll do the work so you don’t have to. The other one is that you’ll be able to get paid again and again from repeat business, so you’ll be earning passive income. But both of those phenomenon require a large amount of upfront work, which most people aren’t willing or able to put in.
You also have to consider at what point you’re getting into an opportunity like this. Are you one of the early people, or are you part of a massive downline with everyone hoping you’ll make sales so they can get paid. Systems like this always work out for the people that get in on the ground floor, but if the business is more mature you might find that everyone that wants the product has it, and has already been pitched on becoming a rep.
Synergy Worldwide is providing a product and an opportunity that some might have success with, but many wouldn’t. The product they sell gets relatively good reviews, with one common complaint being that it’s rather expensive. So if you’re able to overcome this objection, you might find that making sales is not very hard. Everyone is concerned about heart health, so there should be a large enough pool of potential customers.
Our Recommendation
If you are looking for a business opportunity to get involved in, network marketing might be it, but you have to understand all that it entails before signing up. Will you be harassing your friends and family to buy your products? Does it involve a lot of recruiting? A real business would let you sell the product online to strangers, and wouldn’t put a big emphasis on recruiting more members.

I had a massive heart attack age 45,Proargi 9plus has made my heart and blood supply improve so much since the attack that my cardiologist said my angiogram was very reassuring,no plaque build up.
Research heart attack causes and you will find that plaque build up and inflammation of the artery walls are the main cause of heart attacks.
I totally recommend Proargi 9plus to anyone with heart disease or as you age you need more nitric oxide
Is the Synergy MLM a pyramid scam?
Look at ANY business structure
A small company of say 1 or 2 people. They source a product or service and sell it. As time passes and the business grows the owners takes on some staff. They take on the company objectives' make the sales, make the profits and the company grows. So the owners promotes some of the staff and brief them on growing sales and taking on more staff
Profits grow the owners seek external investment and with the investment take on more staff, sell more products and services.
Looks like it must be a pyramid scam, just like all start ups grows, makes profits and employees more people
If you get it from Amazon and don't like the product you won't get your money back, go directly through synergy and you can get your money back.
The product DOES work, but the pyramid scheme to make money off of it is a big scam!
Many years ago this company was popular in Spokane. Many people were on board with their products, until it became VERY apparent none of their claims were valid (this included some very highly regarded professionals who ended up dropping out once they too realized what a scam it was). This company is one of the MANY MLM companies stationed in Utah where these scams are allowed to flourish. Supplements are NOT regulated thus anyone can make claims to perform the impossible with no repercussions. That being said, save your money and ONLY listen to medical professionals when it comes to your health care.
I also distribute ProArgi9 and here is the answer to the question of why should anyone buy it from us when it can be bought on Amazon for $50. It is because in order for it to work, you need to take it for at least three months. You can buy bulk orders from Synergy and it will be much less than buying a single can. If you buy a Jumbo pack, you get 7 months' worth averaging about $35 a month. If you sign up as a distributor, you can even get rebates on future purchases making it even cheaper.
Of all the Arginine supplements out there, only Synergy is transparent to their manufacturing practices and quality control. It's an excellent product and company.
Not sure what peoples expectations of making money entail. Most perspectives are to happen onto a product or service that trades time for a fair compensation in the market place. I see Network marketing as a method that utilized a sales force where the employer does not pay the sales person but the main company pays the sales person and all compensation is completely based on volume, just like any other traditional business, even doctors or other professional services. Face it, no customers, no compensation, regardless of accreditations. Synergy Worldwide because of their connection with Natures Sunshine represent one of the strongest foundations for anyone interested in network marketing. I suspect there are lingering negative vibes left over from scams that people experienced in the 60s and 70s. The industry is so deeply regulated now that any company that can show consistent profit year after year deserves some respect. As far as product value goes, there are many factors that influence the price point and competition can only cut quality to compete because they cannot match Synergy Worldwides product standards and survive unless they somehow increase revenue. Todays MLM is different than it used to be as well, especially for legitimate companies where the product is manufactured based on demand, not surplus unloading on customers. I have faith that Synergy Worldwide and ProArgi9+ represent a clean, reputable, and honest opportunity for someone to either benefit from the products or if they understand the behaviors necessary to build a MLM business, create a generous economy. There are much more expensive ways to seek health improvement concerns, and there is no reason to think that any financial risk to start or build any traditional business is going to pan out any better. But like I say, it's completely your choice to either use and benefit from the products, but you have to use them correctly to gain. Also for any MLM opportunity, you have to service your customers and understand that if you provide value in your service, the product cost becomes irrelevant..
I'm involved with Synergy in Italy, and I found that products really helping people to stay well.
I agree with the point of view that someone don't believe that this company is different from the others. The truth you can discovery in the principles of his founder, Dan Higginson.
Unfortunately, many people talking about values and honesty, proud to help people.
The best way is to have the approach to test the products. When you see something, observe your health, maybe your life can change... Than you can start to think to the business.
Everyone involved in the business have the same goals of his founder... help people to live better.
The conseguence... you can make a lot of money.. sharing opportunity with other people that have the same goals. If you interested only in earn money... you find products on amazon and ebay... (it's prohibited from the company), so You will never have success in Synergy... try others companies. Best success and wins... leaving a legacy.
Proargi9 products seem really good
but why would anyone join or buy synergy prouts from distributors if they can get the product at 50 bucks from amazon. Doesn't make sense to me
I have been a distributor in Synergy for 6 years, and I have used their ProArgi9+ as long. We thought, when we signed in, that this product would be "self-selling" - due to the high number of people with cardiovascular decease. The oppsite happened. People that got better, did not believe that the ProArgi9 had anything to do with their increased health. Even miracles happened; Like one lady, who hasen't talked in 6 years after a stroke, she now talks and can make herself understood. I think that Synergys products are so efficient, people do not believe in it, to good to be true, kind of. When it comes to the leader-part, Synergy has been like absent. Their has been lack of education, and when rules and regulations where needed, they did not show up either. To help solving the problem we had in our group. Nevertheless, their rules and regulations, if one bother to read them, and hopefully followed, are amazing. People don't read it, and it has not been pointed out in my area. Synergy pays out as they promise, and have a wonderful helpdesk. Even there are some points I would have changed, like their binary plan, I highly recommend their products, and also business.
Synergy worldwide make it too difficult for rookies in the MLM industry to be successful. The fact that they put certain point levels for you to start earning is the first problem. Not many people are going to reach the point necessary to get the first pay check, not for a long time. Motivation is very important to be successful in a new business and I think they made a mistake with this. I liked synergy worldwide based on a short initial review I read the other day, but I'm completely put off by it now.
It looks a bit iffy if you ask me like those Vector Marketing scams aimed at college students. Rookies would like to become successful look like they need to find another program. It sounds overwhelming and I completely agree with you that you need to be highly motivated to achieve successful. If I have to beg my friends and family to purchase these products in order to make the sell, then it's totally not worth it. That's almost crossing the line into scammer territory. It's deceptive marketing at best and should be avoided. There's much better ways of making supplementary income than this.
