Does The Panther Really Work?

Rate this post

The Panther is an elliptical machine that boasts a full body workout in addition to cardio training. Elliptical machines have been around for decades now, so let’s look at what makes this one different from the ones you find in the gym, and if it’s worth trying or buying.

Overview
Elliptical machines established themselves as a bona fide workout machine and in many gyms across the country you can find a row of these next to the stationary bikes and treadmills. The draw is that it’s low impact, and also gets your arms moving. Most elliptical machines work in both directions as well, so you can change up the direction that you’re going and work a different set of muscles in your legs.

The Claim
The makers of The Panther say it provides a low impact full body workout, and they compare and contrast it to high impact exercises like jogging to draw a distinction. They say it provides a fluid motion, and gets you working out your lower body and upper body at the same time. They say you’re getting three times the workout in far less time than with ordinary exercise equipment, and that the unit folds up and rolls away when not in use. They also say that with the mini computer included you can track your meals and calories as well as your time and distance.

The Hype
When introducing a new product into a flooded marketplace you have to provide reasons why it’s better than what is currently out there. Elliptical machines have been getting regular upgrades over the years, and today’s best models have a ton of features and can give you a great workout, if you’re willing to spend a few thousand dollars.

The Cost
They have it set up so that you can try The Panther for 30 days for $25, but the details on this offer are not listed so it’s unclear what the total cost is,

and how they break down the payments. They do have a 60 day money back guarantee that covers the purchase less the shipping, and since they’re only charging $10 for shipping you’d get back most of your money. Keep in mind though that you’d be required to pay return shipping charges, which could be pricey for a machine of this size.

The Commitment
Even though this is supposed to give you a better workout in less time, you’ll still have to get on it and use it. There aren’t any shortcuts to losing weight and getting in shape but you can make the best use of your time by doing the right exercises that give the best results in the shortest amount of time. Combining the upper and lower body is a big part of that, and getting cardio and resistance training at the same time really helps you build up a sweat and build muscle which helps you burn calories all day long.

Evaluation
They’ve tried to make The Panther a comprehensive workout system, by including a nutrition guide so you’ll know what to eat when you’re working out with this. They also provide a computerized tracker that measures how far you’ve gone, and can also help you keep track of the calories you’re eating. If you lower your caloric intake with the eating guide, and burn calories with the machine, you’ll be creating a caloric deficit that should result in weight loss, all else being equal.

The last thing you want is a workout machine taking up space or becoming a rack to hold your clothing. This has shown that it can provide results as long as you use it, so search your core and see if this is something you really feel that you’d use on a regular basis.

Final The Panther Review

The Panther is getting our Solid Try rating. It has an enticing offer that is consumer friendly, and you just can’t get a quality elliptical machine for

less than $1000 these days. Some of the more advanced ellipticals cost several thousand dollars, and take up an enormous amount of space in your home. The draw to this smaller sized model is that it provides many of the same benefits, but can roll out of the way so you can reclaim the space in your home when you’re not using it.

Our Recommendation
If you’re in the market for an elliptical machine, you owe it to yourself to try this one out first. They make it easy enough to take it for a spin for 30 days. If you don’t like it, you’re out the return costs plus the $10 shipping cost. If you do like it, you can make payments on it until you own it, and you’ll end up spending far less than you would have if you went with some of the higher end elliptical machines out there.

What do you think? Does The Panther work or not?
