The company claims that Windo Bully is really easy to install. They are saying that it has been tested for up to 300 pounds for break in force.

The Hype
When it comes to safety and security there isn’t a lot of hype that is needed to convince people about beefing up their home protection. Open windows is always a concern for many individuals. Especially those who live alone. So the three settings offered on the Windo Bully is enough hype to really entice people into looking closely at this product.

The current offer is buy two and get two free for $19.95 plus shipping and handling which is $7.95. So in this order you would be getting 4 window bully locks, 4 holders, and 4 cleaning pads.

The Commitment

It doesn’t sound like there is going to be much of a commitment needed for the installation of the Windo Bully. It is just a peel and stick to install the locks. While you may think that this type of installation would compromise it’s strength it doesn’t seem to. In fact, there are special instructions if you want to remove them.

Evaluation
Security systems are really great and are the way to go, but they are most useful when people are away from home. A lot of people don’t like to set the alarms when they are home. Plus, they want to be able to open their windows. This product is an ideal solution to allow for this. It is great for when you are sleeping at night and want to let some air in. Or for seniors who are too nervous to have their windows open at any time.

It is perfect for when you want to leave the patio door open enough so your pets can come in and out. ones can’t slide it open. Another great feature about this product is that it is universal. While there are plenty of other types of window locks on the market many of them have a lot of restrictions in respect to the type of windows they will fit on. Plus, they can be difficult to install.

Our Recommendation
You may want to do a walk about your home and decide where would be the best windows and patio doors to install your Windo Bully. You will want to have enough to cover all the areas you want to open but are vulnerable to unwanted entries.

300 lbs is a lot of force. But even if they break in, at least you know that there was a break in, as it seems the lock is very hard to jimmy open.

The problem I have are these sliding window & door locks that you can jimmy open. Then they can enter and leave without any evidence of entry.

I would recommend this item because I don't think of anyway that they can jimmy this lock, even if they can exert over 300 lbs of force to break the lock.
