Many of those that talk particularly about the actual brand Miracle Grill Mat for the most part seem impressed with it. In comparison to a similar grill mat product on Amazon the reviews of that particular product are quite mixed. They complain about it being difficult to clean and in some cases it even melted.
We’re going to give the Miracle Grill a thumbs up. When watching the video you will see it can be used for both indoor and outdoor grills. It is recommended for use with temperatures up to 500 degrees. A lot of people that love cooking outdoors should find this product ideal because of its many benefits. Being able to cook items that normally are difficult to cook on a grill like eggs or bacon is a real bonus. Haha ! I just cannot believe after having found out a few years back how toxic teflon really is, now people are sticking sheets of it on the hot bbq and cooking food they will be ingesting into themselves . It was known decades ago that PFTE is a suspected carcinogen , pyrolysis of PFTE begins at only 392 degrees F. So I would more than assume that you will have compounds leeching into the food. The only place high temperature plastics belong is under the hood of your car. If it is too much work to scrape the grill for 30 seconds before or after use, then order in. Don`t poison your family with polytetrafluoroethylene.
I bought this thinking it would work great. i was wrong. i was cooking steaks and burgers on my grill on low heat. The grease from the burgers would run off into the bottom of the grill and cause Flare ups. This may work on TV but I would never purchase this again. It has no way to collect the grease and when the flare up happened, the mat caught on fire. So much for heat resistant to 500 deg
For those who asked about fumes, the package says it is food grade, non-toxic and BPA free. But it does not tell what the material is.
We bought the grill mats and they are awesome. Tried chicken brochettes and the meat was juicy and flavourful

What is this product made of and or coated with to prevent from melting?
In other words, mastergrillrrr, you have no f'n clue as to the answer either, but you want to b*tch at people who ask the question because you'd rather not be bothered to think about it.
For years people were dumb enough to think smoking cigarettes was perfectly safe. People SHOULD ask questions about new products. It's not like any of the manufacturers care what happens to you (now, or in 5, 10 or 20 years) as long as they get your cash.
Wish Ida thought to sell these this way. It appears to be a teflon sheet McDonalds have been using these for years on their clamshell grills. I doubt they will last five years though unless you rarely use it
wow you people are soooo ghey! im 100% sure u have non stick pans at home! and if you live anywhere near any type of city...the contaminants you are breathing in on a daily basis ...are far far worse!. plus if you either drink...smoke...drink coffee...eat sweets...processed foods...and or foods with high sodium and or sugars...etc etc etc you are screwing up your body in ways that are millions of times worse than whatever things are "leeching" to your food from this. God how i hate hypocrites !

No where does it state what this material is, so why purchase it?
I ask about the safety of using this material. does any of the cooking surface of the mat leech into the food. what material is it. ?? do we get any fumes in the food ?
