Evaluation
With the Rotorazer being so lightweight and versatile the promoters claim it can be used for a variety of projects such as for renovations or even by the hobbyist which makes it a little more appealing.
We are going to give the Rotorazor a Try/Buy rating. If you really think you will use all of the versions then it would be a good buy. Also, if you are going to use it for both renos and craftwork then it would be a good investment. Do keep in mind that it has a 400 watt motor so you need to determine if this would meet your needs.
Our Recommendation
You really need to look at the specs and the power of the Rotorazer to help you make the decision as to whether this is a good investment for you. Consider the types of jobs that you will be using it for. If you had a use for all of these 7 types of saws that it is comprised of then no doubt price wise you are getting a good deal. The infomercials on this product are misleading. The Rotorazer saw RZ200 is only good for light weekend projects. Mine got extremely hot and stopped working. I thought this was a safety feature, so I let it cool down and tried cutting again. Now its only humming.
I was cutting a piece of ply board halfway through the saw quit and the only way it came back was when I turned on the side and when I turned the proper way it cut back off. I bought it off line Lumiazzshop order#3446 Shopify
Kickback is probably why the on switch has to be held on, i'm watching the ad now and kickback was what i wondered about.
I bought the tool by watching on TV. It shows that it cuts tiles, metals, baseboards and 2X4s. When I have received the tool last week, I saw the blade is only 3/4 inches thick. where as 2X4s are one and half inch thick. It cannot cut a 2X4. Commercial is misleading. When I called the customer service to get a RMA, they told me that I have pay shipping and handling again. I am very disappointed. I have lost money.

It does not do what it claims. Also, it is hard to handle. It kicks back which is very dangerous. I am disappointing. I asked for assistance before my last payment and I have never heard from them. I really wanted a smaller tool to make a simple task simple. This is not the tool. I am so upset that I have spent so much money and the tool is worthless.
Afraid to use it...I do not want to go to the hospital with blood gushing out because of the kickback.

I know there is a limit in different materials to prevent over heating.

If your hand is not big enough it is very difficult to hold the blade gaurd open while at the same time holding the on/off switch on at the same time. If the switch would stay on without being held on it would be a great tool.
