its really good and very use full product
Look at how SMALL that chair is where the person is sitting compared to the height of the living room chair on the left side of the screen.
My Table mate has height sizes of knee high, ankle high and barely off the floor.
There is no way I can fit it over my lap when I am sitting in a regular kitchen chair.
I did NOT assemble it wrong. In fact I measured the length of the bars that make up the legs before they are even put together, and they are too short no matter how they are attached.
I have the Table Mate. I am pretty lazy I suppose, but I don't use my Table Mate to sit in front of the TV to eat. I use it for what I am doing right now. I put my laptop on it and I can surf the web, work, shop and all on the comfort of my couch. I prefer to do this in the living room in front of my big TV and is what prompted me to buy the Table Mate. I have the old TV trays, but it has the four legs and didn't come up to you on the couch like the Table Mate. I love mine. It does cost $50.00, but I put the other one up, then if my husband decides to eat in front of the TV, then he can do so with his own table.
This table seems like a great idea but the price seems to be really up there. A set of two for $50 is good if you have two people. But if there is only one person and the product is as good as they say (lifetime guarantee) then the one person would have no need for two. I don't think the product stretches itself to merely people being lazy, but rather to a different type of lifestyle now which can often mean no dining tables and people eating in front of the TV every night.
LOL~ Look how lazy we have gotten. Everyone watches tv while they eat, so now we have a table that's perfect for the couch :D :D :D The sad thing is I need one too! I'm no different than anyone else and I eat in front of my tv, seated comfortably on my couch. Oh wow~ I betcha, they're going to make a lot of money with this thing.
