Does the Wizard Mat Really Work?

Does it realy work?

Does the Wizard Mat Work? There are a lot of extras that we can buy for our vehicles. When we want to protect them or maybe help spruce up the interior we may look to floor mats to help with this. A new concept called the Wizard Mat which is a multi use item may be something that you are interested in.

The Wizard Map is an all purpose vehicle mat that you can use in the trunk as well as for floor protection. It can also be used as a warning device when displaying the yellow and black side that also has a warning triangle on it.

The Claim
The company claims that the Wizard Mat is compact and durable. It is said to fit all vehicles including standard vehicles as well as trucks and SUVs.

The Hype
Having a mat that can serve various purposes is a good concept. Most often a lot of vehicle owners carry a few items with them like a drop sheet if they have to get under the vehicle. Then sometimes they will carry plastic sheeting to lay on the floor of the car if they are carrying something that is less than clean. The Wizard Map will serve all of these purposes.

The Cost
The cost for the Wizard Map is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping and handling. If you throw in an extra $3.99 to cover the shipping and handling you will receive a second one free.

The Commitment
As with anything if you have it then you have to be committed to using it. Just buying it and tucking it away in the car, isn’t going to serve much of a purpose for you.

So if we take a look at the individual uses then that really tells us if we are going to benefit from the Wizard Mat. It has a raised lip so that’s a bonus if you are using it to protect an area from items that may spill. The warning segment of the Wizard Mat can be seen from 500 feet away, so this is a good thing as well. However, according to the promo material you would use this portion of the mat by standing it up in your trunk. Traffic coming from the direction may be able to see your warning, but that doesn’t help for the traffic coming from the other direction. You really still should use pylons at the front and back of your vehicle if you have run into some roadside trouble.

Final Wizard Mat Review

The Wizard Mat is really not technically floor mats. It is more of floor protector, but its main use seems to be for the trunk area. These other uses have just been added on. We are going to give the Wizard Mat a try buy. Probably the feature we like about it the most is its use for when you may have to crawl under the vehicle. While we have talked about it being handy for protecting the floor and trunk, it is also quite useful for protecting the seats. You may want to rely on something like this if you have dog that travels with you. It may be a real seat saver in that case.

Our Recommendation
We recommendd that you study all of these features of the Wizard Mat carefully. If you think that it has enough different uses for you to take advantage of then it may be worth the investment. If you are into buying extras for your vehicles then check out the Trunk Caddy.

What do you think? Does the Wizard Mat work or not?
