We’ve haven’t talked much about gadgets lately, and the Flip-It might be a good one to review. It really could save you from some irritating moments.
Overview
Flip It is a set of replaceable lids that you can use on different bottles to replace their original ones. You know, all those bottles you have to throw away yet there is still a good amount of product left in the bottom, but you just can’t get it out. It used to the ketchup or mustard bottles that were a source of aggravation, because as they got to the bottom they got thicker and you just couldn’t get that last drop. Then they came out with the squeeze bottles for these and it solved the problem. This is just two of a ton of products that can create that type of irritation.
The Claim
The company claims that Flip It lids are really easy to use and replace the caps that are on some of your products now. They say that once you have installed the cap properly you can store it upside down and don’t have to worry about leakage.
The Hype
Having to throw out bottles that still has product left in it, is really irritating. The company saw the need to correct this and came up with the Flip It lid system. Let’s face it the tons of bottles in our house takes up room no matter whether you store them right side up or right side down. These lids can be used on a whole gambit of products that are used throughout the home. Then when the product is really done you just wash and store the lids for their next use.
The Cost
You are going to pay $19.95 plus $6.95 shipping and handling. You get 37 items. Now this isn’t all lids. You get 6 Flip It base caps,6 adapters,24 re-usable gaskets and 1 storage bag. This makes up your Flip It Cap System.
The Commitment
You are going to have to take the time to replace the caps on your current bottles of product with the Flip It cap. This can be a little messy if the bottle has a plunger in it for the product delivery. For other type bottles it won’t be a big deal.
Evaluation
It is true that a lot of product gets wasted simply because you can drain the bottles they are stored in. In the kitchen it could be the condiments if they haven’t come in a squeeze bottle. In the bathroom there are tons of products that we end up throwing a portion of it out. For example, different types of beauty creams, hand soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Then there are cleaning products where the same thing happens. Just take a quick look at some of the products in your home and see how many of them do you end up throwing out with still some left in them? We haven’t done any reviews on a product that is much the same as this. However, we have done several on lids for storing products in containers like the Mighty Lids.
Final Flip It Review
We’re going to give the Flip It a strong Try/Buy if you are really one of those individuals that just hat throwing product out. We aren’t going thumbs up because we think that some people will find it too much work to replace the caps, even though it can be easy in most cases. Also after a while in some cases they will be forgotten about.
Our Recommendation
If you are going to invest in the Flip-It, then really make it a point to use them as soon as you get them, otherwise they will get tossed into a drawer. Also, don’t forget that when you are ready to throw out that finally empty container to remove your Flip It cap.
