Sleek Secrets is a way to wear panties without having a visible panty line, so you can wear different dresses, skirts, and pants without worrying about revealing anything you don’t want revealed. It may look a little strange at first, but what’s most important is if it actually works.
Overview
There are some outfits that you just love to wear but they make it hard to wear panties and still look good due to the fact that the pantyline is obvious when you’re moving around. Thongs work pretty well in some instances, but then you run the risk of showing off your “whale tail” in the back.
The Claim
The claim of Sleek Secrets is that it’s basically the same as a pair of painties but it’s designed so that it simply covers the bits that need to be covered, and doesn’t have any unnecessary parts to it. It’s basically a strip that you wear on your undercarriage, and that doesn’t go around your waist or legs at all. This removes all traces of panty line, while still covering up what needs to be covered.
They say that these are washable and reusable, but there is an adhesive to it that is what makes it stick to the front and back of your body. They also say that since there are no side and no straps, there’s no visible panty line. However, there’s a big possibility that you’ll be able to see these either in the front or the back if you are wearing low cut jeans or other outfits that reveal your midriff area.
The Hype
The hype behind this is that they show celebrities getting caught coming out of limos and the paparazzi is there to snap shots of them not wearing any panties because they don’t want it to be seen under their clothes. It’s hype because most of the people that will be buying this are not celebrities and won’t have paparazzi trying to get revealing photos of them, but it’s still nice to feel confident that everything is covered while still looking good in your clothes.
The Cost
The cost of Sleek Secrets is $36 and you end up with 3 pair of them, one in black, white, and tan. They refer to this as a $60 and are therefore saying that each one is worth $20. At the total price with shipping included you are getting them for $12 each so that’s not a bad deal if you agree that they’re worth $20. The main determining factor is how many times you can wash and reuse these before they can’t be used anymore. If it’s several times then this is a great deal, but if it’s only a few times, or it fails to live up to that claim then it’s not a good deal at all.
The Commitment
All that you’re required to do is put these on instead of normal panties or a thong. This can take a little getting used to because they don’t go on like normal panties do, they go on just the bottom so there are no lines to be seen on the outside of what you’re wearing.
Evaluation
The idea behind Sleek Secrets is a solid enough one, but it begs the question on what kind of adhesive can stick to the body for the entire day, even when you’re walking and moving around all day, and then be removed, put through the washing machine, and then re-stick to the body for another day of wearing. We’re a bit skeptical that they’ve included an adhesive like that, since we’ve yet to see any other product on Earth with it.
It’s not really their fault because there’s really no other way to get panties that have no waistband or sides to stay in place without sticking them to the body. So right idea, but it’s just not really feasible with the materials that are currently available.
Final Sleek Secrets Review
Overall, Sleek Secrets is getting our Risky Try rating based on the high likelihood that you’re not going to get much more than one, maybe two uses out of them. That’s just not enough to earn our support.
Our Recommendation
Although this looks like a good idea, even if it is a bit odd, we’re just not convinced that these would be able to be worn more than once. If it were true that you could wash them and reuse them, they might be a good deal. But $36 for a 3 pack of disposable panties is not that great of a deal. If you have a special event that you have in mind for them, it might make sense, but then you have to consider how comfortable it would be to have something taped to your underside like this.
