Foamazing is a foam cleaner that is jet-propelled so you can shoot it several feet to reach places you couldn’t before. But in order for it to be worth it, it really does need to spray far and clean things with little effort. So how does it measure up?
Overview
There are plenty of foaming cleansers on the market, and the idea is that the foaming action is what works to break up dirt and grime. Consider that Scrubbing Bubbles have been around for decades now, so this isn’t really a marvelous new invention, it’s just a way to get it to spray further than other foam spray cans.
The Claim
The makers of Foamazing, which are also the makers of Flex Seal say that because it is able to clean grease and grime, and that it does so instantly. They say it can shoot up to ten feet, so you can get those hard-to-reach places. They say it does this by clinging to what it’s sprayed on, and that it works on all types of surfaces, so you can use it on plenty of items around your home.
The Hype
The infomercial provides a lot of hype for this product, showing several different ways you could use it. It’s pretty clear to see that they brainstormed possible ways it could be used in an effort to increase buyer demand. The number of actual ways you yourself might be able to come up with when you get it home might be lower, but you should still find several things to clean up if you try it.
The Cost
Very rarely do we see a product like this that is sold as a buy one get one free special where the additional bottle is actually free. Your total comes to $30 and you get two bottles of Foamazing, so that’s $20 for the one bottle, $10 for shipping and then the 2nd bottle for free. They also give you the option of adding cleaning wipes for $8 but they don’t force you into it.
The Commitment
This should make clean up time easier for you, freeing you up to do other things around the home, or to just take it easy. Compared to having to scrub surfaces, or flat out not being able to clean them otherwise, this seems to be a large reduction in your commitment level, and is the main draw to the product.
Evaluation
The most impressive feature touted by Foamazing is how far it can shoot, and while this may have some visual appeal but when you really think about it it isn’t altogether too impressive. The bigger question is whether the formula can actually do a better job of getting things clean than using something bought in a local store for far less. So no matter what you’re currently using to clean up around your home, this would have to do a better job than all of them.
Breaking up grease and grime is not exactly rocket science, and products that can do it ave been on the market for a long time, they just don’t shoot as far. Overall, the feedback on this suggests that it works pretty well in certain situations, but lags behind in others so it depends largely on the job or jobs you have in mind for it.
Final Foamazing Review
Foamazing is getting our Solid Try rating, due to the previous success of Flex Seal and also because there isn’t anything quite like it to compete. The ability to spray things from a distance might come in handy for some, but also consider that this isn’t the “greenest” way to get things clean, as it is coming from an aerosol can. Big jobs should probably be handled by a pressure washer, even if it does take longer.
Our Recommendation
This could be a good addition to your cleaning product arsenal. It’s all about using the right product for the right jobs, and you may find that this is able to clean things more easily than other products. It would need to considering that the price is many times more than the cleaning products you find on the shelves of your local supermarket.
