Does the Ziptainer Work? There are a lot of kitchen items that often need replacing on a continuous basis. One that may fit into this category is storage containers. Some opt to rely on the reusable ones. Others go for the disposal. No matter which category you fit into you may be interested in Ziptainer.

Ziptainer are food containers that are made of food grade reusable silicon materials. They don’t come with lids because they are not needed. They are zip locked.

The Claim
The promoters of Ziptainer are capitalizing on the neat idea of not having to deal with lids. They are claiming that these containers are air tight and leak proof. Although they are soft and flexible compared to other storage containers they will stand up which makes them perfect for liquids.

The Hype
The hype for the Ziptainer is really all about not having to deal with lids which can be a real hassle. The versatility of this product is quite impressive. They can be used in the oven or freezer and are dishwasher safe. Plus, they can be used in the microwave.

The Cost
The cost for the Ziptainer is $19.99 plus $6.99 for shipping and handling. What you get for this is 8 containers. These are comprised of 8 different sized containers. If you want to add an extra $6.99 to cover the shipping and handling then you will get a second set of the eight.

The Commitment
The commitment with the Ziptainer comes with realizing that you are going to have to take the time to seal them properly. Some people have real issues with the zip type bags that have a similar sealing feature. It would be helpful to remember that keeping the sealing area clear from what is being stored will make sealing them properly much easier.

The Ziptainer does address some of the issues that comes with the lid type containers. Those types take up a lot of storage room when not in use. More often than not the lids gets misplaced, then the container no longer has any value. Other problems are that sometimes after a few uses the lids no longer fit properly. These are all potential problems that are eliminated with the Ziptainer. On the otherhand there can be hassles with the zip type sealing of some containers. It appears as though the ones that have been designed for this product are not going to be as difficult to deal with as these containers have a good base to stand on.

Final Ziptainer Review

We are going to give the Ziptainer a thumbs up even though there is not a lot of feedback about them as yet. The price is good and the versatility of them is a real bonus. There are tons of different things that they could be used for.
